The parent organization of the Riverdale Ensemble (along with its period instrument sibling group Ossia) is Riverdale Concert Productions Inc., a not-for-profit corporation registered in Ontario (Ontario Corporation No. 1635816).

Various opportunities exist to assist the group in its endeavours to create music and bring it to the public, through sponsorship of concerts, artists, recordings and tours, corporate advertising, participation on our Board of Directors and volunteer work.

A significant upgrade in the Ensemble's financial base will enable us to carry out numerous plans for the near future.  These include commissioning new Canadian musical works, collaboration with graphic artists, and providing professional performing opportunities for more musicians, including younger artists.

Programme advertisement (per concert):

price-   $100

Ticket package (per concert):

price-   purchase of concert tickets totalling at least $200 
            (e.g., 10 adult tickets at $20 each)

Artist sponsorship (per concert):

price-   (negotiable, depending on fee for a particular artist)

price-   (negotiable, depending on expenses for a particular concert)

- full page back cover advertisement in concert programme

- 10 complimentary concert tickets
 

Season sponsorship (all Riverdale Ensemble and Ossia Main Series concerts):

price-   (negotiable, depending on expenses and number of concerts)

Guidelines for submitting advertising copy and funds-
- Ad copy can be either clear printed material (black and white preferred) or emailed graphic file
- Deadline for receipt of ad copy and payment is two weeks before concert date
- Cheques should be payable to “Riverdale Concert Productions Inc”.

A number of recording projects are planned for the next couple of years.  The economic realities of present day marketing of Classical music recordings mean that such projects (even if the CDs are to be distributed by established record companies) need to be financed independently, at least as far as the mastering stage.

Partial sponsorship of a recording allows a sponsor's name and logo to appear on the tray card of a CD, and further mention in promotional materials.

Touring, both within Ontario and internationally, is at present a small part of the Riverdale Ensemble's activities, but is expected to become a larger part in the future.  Under current conditions of reduced government support, transportation costs incurred in touring are prohibitive unless defrayed by sponsorship.

One tour under immediate consideration would involve a number of concerts in Japan in July 2005, centred around an invitation to perform at ClarinetFest 2005 in Tokyo.
